| Download Format |
| The most common formats are as a White Paper, either as html or Adobe Acrobat pdf format or as a Presentation in pdf format or a Presentation handout in pdf format. |
| |
| We recommend the Adobe Acrobat pdf format since this ensures that the document that you receive is formatted exactly the way it was when we created it. All diagrams, etc are also accurately preserved. |
| |
| The html format is used only for White Papers and will not include pictures and other graphics. It is intended only for those who do not have the Free Adobe Acrobat Reader and do not want to download it. Html documents load as web pages which must then be saved and printed locally if you want a permanent record (click "File, Save As" or "File, Print" on the Browser menu.. |
| |
| Presentations have been created in Harvard Graphics 3.0 and are only available as either a pdf copy of the full presentation in full color, one slide per A4 page or as handouts with three or six slides per page formatted for printing without slide background. |

| How To Download |
| To download the document or other item, click on the link text describing the download and the download will start automatically. |
| |
| If the download is an Adobe Acrobat pdf file and you have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, the Acrobat reader should load automatically and the document should then display on screen. For more information on Acrobat Reader, go to the "Get Acrobat Reader" page. |
| |
| Once the document has loaded you must click the "File, Save As" option to save it to your local disk, or click the diskette icon. |
| |
| If the link is an html document this will display in your browser as another web page and you can then either click "File, Save As" to save it to your local hard disk or "File, Print" to print it. |
| |
| For other download types you should be prompted as to whether you want to save the download on disk, or not, indicate that you DO want to Save the file and select a convenient directory to save the downloaded file. |
| |
| In the case of Adobe Acrobat documents, if you would prefer not to have the Adobe Acrobat reader open immediately but want to save the file to disk, "right click" on the file and then select "Save Target As" on the pop-up menu that is presented. You will then be prompted for a location on your local hard drive to save the file. |
